The concept of trade fairs was pioneered by the organization nearly three decades ago on the principle of 'Collective-Cooperation' by industry members. Late Shri Narendra Kanwarjani (erstwhile Director at Dfrnt Clothing Pvt Ltd) envisioned a platform for garment manufacturers in Malad to showcase their merchandise to retailers in Kerala, and it has been a resounding success ever since.

After Mr. Narendra, his younger brother Mr. Lalit Kanwarjani took the reins and expanded MGMF to other regions of South India, bringing renewed energy to the events with his charismatic nature and his innate flair for connecting with people. The team at MGMF, including industry stalwarts like – Mr. Kaushal Bavishi (owner at Racy Art), Mr. Amrish Shah (owner at Pretty Girl), & Mr. Vijay Ludhani (owner at Pink & Purple) – is dedicated to fostering teamwork and cooperation within the fashion industry.
